Simon & How are searching for an experienced and passionate Junior Dance Agent to join our thriving talent agency.
We currently represent over 100 actors, dancers and choreographers who work across TV, film, theatre, cruises, commercials and events.
This is a very exciting role and we are now expanding our dance department to work with and assist our Senior Agent.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Sourcing talent and attending Dance Showcases and Performances
Contractual negotiations,
Artist relations, development and retention
Invoicing and chasing payments
Organising and attending castings and workshops
They will endeavour to source work for the Artists they represent which includes moulding the list to include a diverse pool of talent and utilising and building relationships within the Dance, Events and Advertising sectors, so an established network of contacts is highly desirable.
The Junior Dance Agent will be working closely with our Actors, Musical Theatre and Young Talent Divisions, sharing an office and resources.
Key Skills and Experience:
At least 1-2 years experience with the Dance or Talent Management industries
Passion for working with Talent
Interest and knowledge of Dance
Ability to pick up things quickly and work well under pressure
Knowledge of dance choreographers and different genres of dance
Proven Advertising and Creative agency contacts
Strong sales, marketing and interpersonal skills
Experience discovering and developing new talent
Salary dependent on experience.
