Georgie Ashworth joins TNT theatre company for their 2014 international tour of Romeo and Juliet, playing the lead role as Juliet.
The production has been extremely well received by audiences in Germany, Switzerland and Israel over the past 2 months and is set to move on to Singapore, China and Japan in the spring.
Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare’s most well known plays around the world. Through the use of stylised movement, a musical score and a focus on the actors skills as part of an ensemble, TNT strives to make an impact on other cultures whereby the themes of Romeo and Juliet are perhaps more pertinent today.
